The arm pouch is made from durable and lightweight polyester, ensuring the sling is comfortable to wear throughout the day. To provide added support, the sling features elastic thumb loops that prevent your hand from getting tired. With a front-facing micro Velcro adjuster, you can easily adjust the length of the strap with one hand, ensuring a personalized and secure fit.
The padded neoprene strap is designed for all-day comfort, as it won't dig into your neck and shoulder. The Think Ergo Arm Sling Sport is recommended for most adults weighing between 90-250 pounds, with a strap length of 35 inches and a pouch length of 14 inches.
For those who require a smaller or larger arm pouch, the Think Ergo Arm Sling Sport is available in two additional sizes:
- Think Ergo Arm Sling Sport Small/Youth: Recommended for adults and children who need a smaller arm pouch, with a pouch length of 11.5 inches.
- Think Ergo Arm Sling Sport XL: Recommended for adults who need a longer arm pouch, with a pouch length of 14-17 inches (adjustable).
Using the Think Ergo Arm Sling Sport is simple:
- Lay the arm sling flat on a table, with the arm pouch opening pointing to the left if using on the right arm, or to the right if using on the left arm.
- Bring the strap over your head and place it on the shoulder opposite to your injury using your non-injured arm.
- Carefully place your injured arm into the pouch, and slip your thumb through the elastic loop closest to your torso to support your hand.
- Adjust the length of the strap by pulling on the Velcro tab and pressing it firmly against the strap to secure it.
- (Optional) If you need to lengthen the arm pouch, simply pull out the extendable fabric.
